John Lehnert

Theological head of the competence centre for education of the Evangelical deaconry Association Berlin - Zehlendorf e. V.

John Lehnert was born in 1964 in Dahme/Mark. He began in 1980 at the school for Church music of the country Church in Greifswald, Evangelical Church to study music. A study of Protestant theology was followed in 1988 at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University in Greifswald. From 1996 to 2016, he worked as a pastor in Germany and Zurich, is responsible for the sustainable development of content structures of the Church. He also built aesthetic, musical and ethical life - and on learning spaces for people of all ages.

As a Theological Board of Directors of the Hoff Bauer Foundation Potsdam-Herman Werder he was from 2016 to 2018, is responsible for the diaconal formation for 1000 teachers and staff in the Christian formation of the group. His duties included the development of new educational formats for teachers in schools to strengthen the Christian view of humanity and ethical Standards.

Since 2018 he is as Theological as head of the competence center of the formation of the Evangelical deaconry Association Berlin-Zehlendorf e. V. is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of creative seminar topics for managerial and specialist staff in the health sector. He also established a protected concept of education, in health care for the nursing staff at a medium level.

Furthermore, he established successfully and permanently the Bach cantatas-cycle of the city of Zurich since 2009, and was responsible for the conceptual development and implementation of the ethics Congress, "Ad fontes!" 2021.
